Topic: Having issue with voice recording

We have a recording module in our script to record people's names that call.  Today we have had several employees tell us that they got caught in a loop - it obviously thought that there had been no input and the "silence" option points back to the same recording.  Can you please check to see if there has been any intermittent issue that would cause this fault?  We have never had any issues with the recording module before but today we have already gotten 3 calls with the same issue, and were able to reproduce it once.  However it is intermittent.

Could you tell us which of these applications is having this issue? Once we know the application, we can take a look to see if there any issues in your application that might cause this loop.

As additional information, we have seen a lot of data missing from about 4 PM EDT on 6/14 through about 12 noon EDT on 6/15.  Was there a system or database issue that prevented data from being saved?

...and now I am looking at the data much more closely.  There are several records that are being entered into our local database via a SOAP call (post-call processing) but that are not represented in the Quickfuse database.  Is there an issue with the data entry module?

We are continuing to have issues and discrepancies - it did not end on 6/15.

I have a couple of specific phone calls that have gone through the process fully and should be in the database but are not.  Examples:

Thank goodness we're doing the double database save or these would be lost.  It's very important to us that we not lose this data!

Three more examples of data loss.  This person tried to call in 3 times but we have no record in either the quickfuse database or in our database via SOAP

Hi,

Regarding this issue with voice recordings, we have cloned your application and placed multiple test calls into it to attempt to reproduce the issue of silence and looping back to the recording module part of your application.

However, once we reach the "To log in, press..." portion of your application, a noinput (silent) response prompts a "Sorry, I didn't hear you" and repeats the prompt part (which is the expected behavior of the application).
