Topic: Long pauses when transferred calls are answered

Most of our 800 numbers transfer to Skype Business accounts/numbers. When those calls are answered, both parties involved experience long pauses before they can hear one another.  The customer calling and the sales agent are then constantly talking over each other - a horrible customer experience.  And then customers hang up.  Any help?

After the transfer has been connected, all call quality issues are dependent on either the initial caller, or the receiving party (Skype Business accounts/numbers). If you call the Skype Business numbers directly, is there a long pause? If so, you should reach out to the owners of those numbers to determine why there are the long pauses.
