Topic: MP3 files being treated at text

Occasionally, we are hearing the mp3 recording used in a say variable spelled out, though the module is not "checked" to spell out letters or numbers. What would cause this to happen?

Re: MP3 files being treated at text

Hi,

We've put in numerous test calls to test voice recordings that have been stored in a simple data table, but have not come across this issue of the mp3 link URL being spelled out.

How often do you come across this issue and how are you reproducing it?

Re: MP3 files being treated at text

Three of us were doing testing yesterday and encountered it at least once each. Curiously, it occurred on an outbound call to VP targets where three of us were targets, one got the mp3 read, the other two of us heard the recording as intended. All three calls started at approximately the same moment.

When you're playing these voice recording mp3 files for your outbound call, are you playing them from your simple data table?

We are experiencing this issue again. The recordings are in the simple data base

Re: MP3 files being treated at text

Hi,

Is this issue happening on each of the calls that you have made? We had attempted to reproduce this issue in the past using the "Say Variable" module for a recording we had stored in the simple data table, but had heard the recording just fine.

Could you provide us with more details on this issue(or tell us the application you are seeing this issue on)?

In the meantime, we'll attempt to isolate this issue you are experiencing.
